PROFESSOR IN STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING

Qualifications:
PhD in Civil/Structural Engineering; Masters degree in Discipline. Membership of an internationally recognized professional body.

Experience:
Considerable related academic and professional experience, including:
• Teaching and research at the tertiary level
• A record of distinguished original work; and a good research record in peer reviewed international journals
• Outstanding success in, and wide recognition of professional activities
• Corporate membership in a reputable professional institution
• Active engagement in industry
• Proven success in grant applications

Suitable combination of teaching, research and industrial experience as a distinguished structural engineer. Track record of original research and publications is essential.

Personal Attributes:
Ability to interact positively with staff within the University and construction industry.
