Programme Funding Officer, Complex and Fragile States Permanent post Based in London with significant overseas travel £28,194 gross per annum

The Programme Funding Officer will support the mobilisation of, and increase in, resources for HelpAge’s growing work in complex and emergency contexts

The successful candidate will have significant experience in donor liaison and securing humanitarian funding from donors such as DFID, EC, USAID and OFDA. You will have a proven track record in supporting the development and implementation of fundraising strategies and plans, writing and reviewing project proposals and project planning and implementation. The ability to cross culturally build capacity in fundraising is key to this role, along with the ability to think strategically in relation to fundraising and to have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Willingness to undertake significant international travel is essential for this role.
