Responsibilities
  • In consultation with the Senior Manager, Borneo Species Manager to implement specific activities and ensure that all the activities are within the project activities and consistent with the vision, goal and objectives of the Borneo Species Programme.
  • The Borneo Species Programme objectives are consistent with the mission of WWFMalaysia and WWF International and their goals and objectives.
  • Ensure quality control and exercise responsibility in executing field project activities, especially in data recording and compilation, reporting and handling project research equipment.
  • Both Chief Technical Officer and Senior Manager of Borneo Species Programme are consulted on any decision making relevant to the work especially when conducting and implementation of field research.


Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree (Zoology or Conservation Biology) or related discipline.
  • At least 4 years of work experience in related field work-study.
  • Possses strong presentation skills (written & verbal).
  • A mature individual, able to work with minimal supervision, especially with routine work.
  • Well versed in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Pleasant disposition, hard working, team-player, committed and dedicated to the conservation cause.
