WWF International is seeking to recruit an

Advisor, WindMade

What you'd do:

The advisor will help to develop and implement credible WindMade/Renewables standards for consumer products in close consultation with the companies affected, research organisations, civil society and WWF as well as with WindMade. He/she will support NOs (National Organizations) and POs (Programme Offices) and WindMade to identify and consult with eligible companies. The advisor will support WWF’s overall work on developing further “green power intelligence” and mechanisms. The position is limited to a 3-year contract.

What you need:

The ideal candidate will bring an advanced degree or equivalent work experience in relevant discipline, including energy or environmental engineering, policy, law, development or natural resources management. He/She would bring at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in product certification preferably in the field of energy or/and consumer products.

We are looking for someone with strong experience and training in project management and coordination, as well as relevant experience in electricity markets and in working with renewable energy & corporate sector, NGOs, technical institutions and standard settings. A team player with a demonstrable ability to work in multi-disciplinary, multicultural teams as well as strong oral and written communication skills in English.

Location: WWF European Policy Office in Brussels, Belgium or WWF US in Washington D.C.
