CONSULTANT DRUPAL DEVELOPMENT

3-5 month Contract
General Description
The purpose of the consultancy is to provide support and development for several Drupal 6 sites. In addition, the consultant may be required to provide support for end-users. More specifically, the consultancy shall include assisting the existing team with managing questions and requests about the CMS as well as developing, modifying, and configuring modules, themes, and features to incorporate new functionalities and sections to existing web projects.
Qualifications required
1. 5+ years experience in LAMP
2. 3+ years experience developing websites with Drupal
3. Experience with Subversion
4. Experience with large scale sites
5. Experience with CDN, Varnish, and Pressflow
6. Comfortable on a Linux command line
7. Able to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
8. Experience working with third-party APIs and knowledge of Perl a plus
The ideal candidate will also have Drupal theming and CSS expertise; previously worked with NGOs; and contributed to the Drupal community.
