The School of Business, Economics and Public Policy is a leader in research and teaching of Economics, Accounting and Finance and Management. The School is seeking to appoint a Professor/Associate Professor in the economics discipline, who will provide academic leadership in macroeconomics.

Applicants must have a PhD in economics, an international reputation in research involving a distinguished and active publication record in the field of macroeconomics and successful supervision of HDR students. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a record of attracting external grants, excellence in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and experience in providing leadership in research teams.

This position would ideally suit someone who wishes to retain their career focus while also having the desire for a life-style change in beautiful Armidale, New England, Australia. Armidale is surrounded by world heritage national parks, is only two hours from the mid north coast and is a unique regional centre that offers all the facilities of a city. Recognised as a centre for culture, Armidale is well served for art, music, theatre and public and private education.

Salary: A$146,222 per annum (Level E) A$113,729 to A$125,195 per annum (Level D) plus 17% employer superannuation and optional salary packaging
