About the Job

We are looking for the person who is best able to fulfill the following job requirements

  • Develop and design general credit models.
  • Develop new product offerings to clients in general credit space.
  • Build strategic relationships with clients.
  • Involved in wider Capital Markets projects, either as part of resource development of research.
  • Responsible to running a portfolio of client and projects.
  • Take ownership of projects (budgeting, billing, resourcing)
  • Manage a junior resource pool of 10 analysts.
  • Make initiative in identifying and implementing process improvement where required.
  • Person will be expected to work alone at times, within a team and within a broader project.
  • The person will also be expected to effectively manage and develop a team of juniors
  • Ensure delivery of and oversee work
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues

About You

We are looking for someone who has the following qualifications

  • University Graduate, preferably BSc (in Statistics or Mathematics); Financial Engineering
  • Undergraduate in Actuarial Science - must be qualified

You would need to have the following Experience and Technical Competencies

  • Financial Modelling - technical knowledge in PD, EAD, LGD, Basel II and IAS39.
  • Need to have 4-5 year Credit Experience at Bank or Consultancy.
  • Retail credit risk experience is preferable, but strong corporate credit is also acceptable.
  • Experience in SAS and Matlab

  • Modelling - PD, LGD, AED, Basel II

  • MS Excel skills

  • MS Word

  • MS PowerPoint
