General Manager

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree - advanced degree in Business, Finance or Engineering preferred
• Minimum of 3 years’ demonstrated professional experience at senior management level
• Understanding of infrastructure projects, public procurement, project finance and public private partnerships
• Strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Entrepreneurial team player
• Willingness to travel internationally
• Excellent communication, writing, negotiation and financial analysis skills, with computer and spreadsheet proficiency.

Reporting to the Managing Director of IA, the incumbent will execute the necessary business operations for the company, deliver on budget by securing medium- and long-term profitability growth and on priority target projects as well as ensure risk proper management in project development and implementation. In addition, he/she will lead Intertoll transactions, whether joint ventures or acquisitions, invest in learning and development of all direct reports, drive the Business Strategy and assist in positioning IA for market moving towards Electronic Toll Collection Systems. Continuous improvement of risk management to ensure a disciplined approach to project risk/return and opportunity/loss evaluation, maintenance of transparent performance management and strict financial control discipline focused on cash management and investment and return optimisation will also form part of his/her duties.
