The Energy Consortium (TEC) is a not-for-profit consortium with some 180 members and regarded as one of the country's leading proponents and providers of collaborative energy procurement in the public sector, particularly within the higher and further education sectors.
Entering their next phase of development, the business is now in a position to exploit new opportunities within the wider public sector; and seek a Managing Director to lead a team of 12 members of staff and deliver a high quality energy procurement service to meet member needs. Current annual value of utility contracts put in place by TEC total c£160m.
This is a challenging and outstanding opportunity for you to put into practice a new vision for the company. You'll be of senior management level with significant leadership experience, a passion for continuous improvement and staff development as well as professional purchasing expertise.
The terms and conditions for this role are commensurate with the public sector including generous annual leave and final salary pension.
