Office Services Coordinator - Central London

We are seeking to recruit an Office Services Coordinator to join the Office Management team. The role supports the Office Supervisor to ensure that the building, services and facilities are maintained to a high standard. Your support will allow ARK's sub-teams to deliver their initiatives in education, health and child protection with maximum efficiency and impact on the quality of children's lives in the UK and worldwide.

You must have high personal and professional standards and be confident, flexible, motivated and enthusiastic - plus not be afraid of getting your hands dirty! It also helps to have a good sense of humour to take on whatever the day brings. This role is exciting and varied and you will play a key role in the overall operations and well-being of 200 staff in the Head Office. An ability to build relationships with people from a wide range of backgrounds is essential to succeed in this role. The Office Management Team at ARK works as a friendly unit, which brings variety to the working day and offers flexibility for all members to bring forward new ideas.

Formal duties include:

  • ordering and stock management
  • facilities coordination
  • meeting room management
  • general administration
  • reception duties

The successful candidate will:

  • have excellent written and oral communication skills
  • have experience of working in a varied and busy office environment
  • be flexible, highly organised, able to multi-task and prioritise conflicting demands
  • be committed to providing excellent customer service
  • have the commitment and passion for working in a children's charity
