Global Health Theme Lead
ARK seeks an exceptional person to join us as our Global Health Theme Lead. This is a key role in our team, and offers the chance to join a nimble, entrepreneurial organisation at a significant strategic point in our history.
With a focus on under-5s, ARK has programmes on HIV, Diarrhoea, and Maternal and New-born health spanning East and Southern Africa. Our ideal candidate will offer deep specialist expertise in Public Health, will bring strong and relevant professional networks, have a sound research background, outstanding quantitative and qualitative skills and a strong commitment to innovative approaches.
ARK is an international non-profit, whose purpose is to transform children's lives. It was established in 2002 by a group of successful business leaders from the alternative investment industry with a shared vision to deliver results which improve the life chances of children. ARK maximises its impact by creating and managing innovative programmes which it rigorously researches, monitors and evaluates to ensure the work it undertakes is effective and sustainable.
In addition to Health, ARK programmes focus on Education and Child Protection.
