Team: Policy and Public Affairs Team
Reports to: Head of Policy Team
Contract: Permanent
The post holder will work as part of a professional team responsible for developing policy, implementing campaigns to advocate the business case to Government and helping to raise the profile of the Chamber within the London business community.
Key Responsibilities:
  • monitoring and advising on Parliamentary business
  • assisting with the organisation of policy and public affairs events
  • contributing to the research and writing of quality briefings on key policy issues
  • developing relationships with LCCI members
  • administration of team activities
  • assisting the Head of Policy Team and Director of Policy & Public Affairs as required
General:
  • play an active part in the team and staff meetings and other internal communication
  • present an efficient, professional and positive image of the LCCI and observe the Chamber’s quality standards
  • take appropriate action, whether on your own initiative or as requested by the Head of Policy Team or Director of Policy & Public Affairs, to assist colleagues with their duties and provide excellent customer services to LCCI members
