Programme Assistant: Technical Co-operation

The International HIV/AIDS Alliance supports communities to meet the challenges of AIDS and build healthier communities. Our vision is a world in which people do not die of AIDS. Since 1994, the Alliance and its partners have supported over 3,000 projects, in over 40 countries, reaching millions of people.

The International HIV/AIDS Alliance is seeking a part-time Assistant: Technical Co-operation to support the Associate Director and the wider Unit. Duties will include: logistical support and minute taking for meetings; diary and e-mail management; communicating with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Associate Director; filing systems and assisting with travel arrangements. The post holder will also provide ad-hoc support to managers and senior advisers in relation to Hubs activities and the Global Fund.

The role requires excellent organisational and computer skills, good analytical skills and attention to detail. You will be highly motivated and flexible with an ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing and be able to show commitment to HIV and development work. Applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
