The University of Vermont is recruiting for a Health Economist to serve in a non-tenure-track research faculty position with the Department of Surgery and the Global Health Economics Unit of the Center for Clinical and Translational Science. The qualified candidate will have a doctoral degree in economics or a related field with expertise in health economic analysis and evaluation of medical, health care, public health, and health policy innovations, including cost-effectiveness analysis. Preferred candidates will have experience in utilization of large integrated databases for research purposes, a track record in federally funded research, and demonstrated ongoing publication in scholarly publications. The dual appointment will be made at the Assistant Professorial level in the Global Health Economics Unit of the Center for Clinical and Translational Science and in the College of Medicine.
