Nordic Sales Executive Platform Computing


IBM is looking for a Nordic Sales Executive to identify, develop and close opportunities in Fortune 1000 accounts. The successful candidate comfortably leads technical conversations with customers and prospects (understanding the customers IT infrastructure and the customer’s technical objectives) as well as is able to hold business conversations with Executives eg explain the TCO reductions or ROI benefits of a Platform solution

Requirements:
· +six years of software sales experience
· Demonstrates a solid track record of quota attainment against goals several years in a row
· Proven track record of new account acquisition
· Minimum four years of sales experience in High Performance technical computing soft and hardware stack
. Knowledge of the Danish Market

The role combines growing and developing the installed solutions in base accounts, seeking new solution footprint in base accounts, although the primary focus will be winning brand new accounts.

The ideal candidate has sold enterprise software with transaction sizes from $200K to multi $m, and is comfortable in proposing and closing professional services engagements. Prior employment with companies that provide a relevant background for this role could be BMC, CA, Oracle, VMware, Teradata, Citrix, and companies engaged in scale out or grid computing solutions. Industry experience with Financial Services (Investment Banking, Retail Banking, Insurance, Buy Side and Energy Trading) is also an advantage
Required
  • Master's Degree
  • At least 6 years experience in High Performance Computing
  • At least 6 years experience in software sales
  • English: Fluent
