CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Act as Project Leader on road and township projects.
Manage design, tender and construction administration.
Business Development and Management.
Client liaison.
Future Technical Executive.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Investigations:
- Manage survey and geotech investigations.
Design:
-
Prelim and detailed design of urban and rural roads, internal and bulk
services for townships and commercial complexes, including overall
responsibility of the output.
- Manage design team and monitor outputs.
Communication:
- Communicate with the client, contractor and design team on a project.
Construction Administration
- Manage site staff and perform contract administration.
Project Management:
- Monitor output vs budget vs programme.
QUALIFICATIONS
B Eng / BSc Eng or B Tech Civil Engineering
Registered Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng
EXPERIENCE
· 6 to 10 years roads design experience
· SANRAL experience
· DRPW experience
· Client liaison
· SANRAL experience
· Project Management
· Management of staff
