The opportunity has arisen for a BPO Solution Strategist Leader to be UK or EMEA based.

in the Financial Services, Public Sector, and Manufacturing industries
  • Demonstrable experience in managing a small, cross-country team of senior consultants
  • Assessing client/competitive drivers of BPO prospects against corporate strategy and capabilities
  • Articulating high-level business cases that deliver compelling savings against client baseline
  • Promoting process/technology innovation in client propositions
  • Excellent verbal/written communication with senior client representative and corporate stakeholders
  • Passionate problem-solver and team-worker, flexible with time and travel as demanded by the job
  • Ability to work across matrix organisation with minimal guidance towards agreed business goals/strategy

Responsibilities:
  • Supports multi-million dollar worldwide deals typically in a global or regional war room environment.
  • Identifies business value creation implications for very large deals.
  • Identifies competition and evaluates relative HP strengths.
  • Effectively engages at the executive level up to C-level in both Enterprise and Corporate accounts.
  • Articulates the business value of HP’s technology to our business partners and customers in terms of how it addresses their business problems.
  • Leads technical/product knowledge sharing with account teams and channel partners.
  • Translates business direction into Presales implications, able to communicate and acquire acceptance of these implications by colleagues.

Desired Skills & Experience

Education and Experience Required:
  • First level and Advanced University degree plus directly related experience
  • Strong experience working in a presales or solution selling organization with global experience.
  • Recognized as a presales leader across HP and external community.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Expert domain knowledge across a wide range of the HP solution portfolio
  • Expert knowledge of emerging industry trends
  • Recognized expert in solution planning, design and NPI.
  • Provides technical leadership in Opportunity Design & Development at the global level
  • Understands and can articulate the relative strengths and weaknesses of the HP solution portfolio relative to industry competitors.
  • Expertly applies productivity-enhancing tools and processes (e.g., SDP, PB, ProposalWeb, SkillWise, Off-shoring, Resource Management)
  • Great deal of credibility with HP’s business units and account teams based on history of solid results and contributions
  • Routinely develops and introduces new methods to resolve issues
  • Leads the development of innovative principles and ideas
  • Creates a positive change in how customers perceive our services
  • Effectively collaborates, builds relationships and influences team members to work toward common objectives across functions and groups.
  • Routinely exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and criteria for achieving objectives

  • Demonstrated skills to manage a portfolio of projects or a program and to supervise other presales consultants and/or account teams on very large multifunction, multi-vendor projects
  • Leads large, cross division presales projects that affect HP’s long-term goals and objective
  • Regularly engages in projects with high to very high risk
