ICRC Field Officer - Agronomist (For Filipinos Only)

Main tasks:

• Identifies, implements, follows and evaluates agro projects
• Gathers data for base line activities using GPS devices and software
• Maintains contacts with authorities at municipal level, local Red Cross branches, population and suppliers independently
• In charge of statistics and project cycle, design expected results, indicators and evaluation
• Analyzes the socio-economical situation & livelihood of the population of the covered area
• Understands, analyzes and evaluates farming systems

Minimum required profile:

• Bachelor's degree in agronomy, sociology or equivalent
• 4-year minimum work experience in similar field
• Proven experience in community based projects
• Good command of project planning cycle
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Very good computer skills
• Very good analytical skills
• Past experiences with humanitarian organizations would be an asset
