Background
|
Under the guidance and supervision of Learning Specialist, Office of Human Resources, Learning Resource Centre (OHR/LRC), the Learning Analyst holds a key role in the successful development of online learning in UNDP. The Learning Analyst requires a full understanding of the organizational priorities objectives, target audience and design and technical standards of the organization.
The development of the modules entails adapting content provided by UNDP, into appropriate web-based learning methodology with a design that is user friendly and interactive. The design of web-based courses is learner-centered and focuses on what the learner needs to know, based on real working experiences. Each aspect of the modules is subject to full review and approval by UNDP to ensure that content is accurate and transmitted appropriately. The goal is to have a flexible but consistent approach and interface that support both an underline design architecture as well as a common brand.
The Learning Analyst works closely with the Design Lab team, Design Lab vendors and internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) who provide content not only to assure that the development of online courses meets quality standards but also to provide innovative solutions to design issues found during online development and production, Alpha, Beta and Gold versions testing before launching the course in the Learning Management System.
S/he will be responsible for the production and management of multimedia assets, quality assurance during the online development process, and the best use of content provided in webinars and face-to face workshops to develop further training solutions. S/he will also conduct evaluations for online courses and learning programmes.
