Role

As a Multi-Media Journalism Trainer you'll train, coach and support BBC journalists and other content/programme makers in a range of multi-media skills, building the capability to produce content across platforms. Delivering top class training in a range of skills across television, radio, online & social media, you'll also be expected to deliver training in your core area of expertise, acting as the main point of guidance for all aspects of the production process from content acquisition to transmission / publication.

Requirements

Our trainers need to inspire and develop journalists and digital content providers in compelling storytelling and original journalism, so substantial training experience and storytelling, writing and other journalism/production skills are essential. Your proven and demonstrable personal commitment to developing, mentoring or training people will be coupled with your understanding of how to use the internet and social media as a way to find and tell stories. With your working knowledge of the relevant software and how these systems can work to the advantage of the journalist, you'll have good interpersonal skills and an enthusiasm for working in and promoting a multi-platform environment.
