The BBC has the rights to the next four Olympic Games as well as being the exclusive UK broadcaster for the 2014 Commonwealth Games. Following the success of London 2012, we are bringing some enhanced focus to this area of our output, including launching a new monthly Network TV magazine programme later in 2012.

Role

BBC Sport is seeking a Producer to organise and deliver multi-platform coverage of the 60+ Olympic summer, winter, Paralympic and Commonwealth sports and stories across Sportsnews, TV, Radio and Online.

Requirements

Working to the multiplatform leads for Olympic sport and Paralympic sport, this is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of the BBC Sport’s journey to Rio via Sochi and Glasgow.  It requires excellent organisational and journalistic skills, including an eye for a story and an understanding of how to get maximum exposure across the BBC’s different outlets and platforms, as well as good broadcast production skills.
