OSCE First Deputy Director


ODIHR, the Warsaw-based OSCE institution focusing on the “human dimension” of security from Vancouver to Vladivostok, is looking for a candidate qualified to manage the programmatic operations of ODIHR, overseeing the preparation, coordination and implementation of the activities of the Election, Democratization, Human Rights, Tolerance and Non-Discrimination Programmes and of the Contact Point for Roma and Sinti Issues, as well as formulation of the ODIHR public message.

Required qualifications:

Advanced university degree in a related field. Over 12 years of progressively responsible experience in government or international organization. Senior management experience. Knowledge of international security, co-operation, human dimension and election issues. Excellent knowledge of English with good drafting skills. Knowledge of Russian and/or another official OSCE language would be an asset.
