School Banks Coordinator - Child and Youth Finance International | Netherlands
Based in Amsterdam, Child and Youth Finance International is currently looking for a: School Banks Coordinator (1 FTE)
Schoolbank aims to create access to formal channels of saving at school for children and youth between the ages of 6~18. The concept envisions schools becoming a facilitating point for basic financial transactions such as deposit taking as well as a focal point for the provision of Child and Youth Finance Education. The integration of branchless banking technology is a critical element within the Schoolbank concept.
Responsibilities
- Manage School Banks Project
- Recruit new implementing partners
- Working with partners to develop branchless banking technology
- Working with mobile phone partners to develop branchless banking technology
- Working with IT developers to create branchless banking via internet
- Selling concept to potential funders
Requirements
- Incredibly entrepreneurial and proactive. Find a way to make anything happen!
- Native level English
- Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Political science or related fields
- 3 years of experience preferably working for a telecom company developing mobile apps and/or in the banking sector with practical IT development experience in internet banking
- Excellent writing skills
- Networking, presentational and marketing skills and expertise
- Organizational skills, detail focus and systematic way of working
- Ability to work independently in an international, multi-cultural, fast-paced and challenging start-up environment
- Flexible and hands-on mentality, with ability to use initiative and judgment pro-actively
- Affinity with the non-profit sector
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Email, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Pre-existing legal ability to work in European Union a necessity
Salary Indication
We offer a salary ranging between 1576-2200 per month based upon experience and education level.
