Senior insight analyst

The millions of pounds that our supporters donate annually are helping us take great strides towards creating a world free from poverty. But if we could raise more, we could go even further. That’s where you come in.
In this challenging role, you will be the vital link between our quantitative data teams and our supporter-facing teams. You will be part of a small internal consultancy team helping the whole department turn information into knowledge, so that we take the best decisions.
It will be down to you to analyse complex data, turning it into meaningful insight into the real triggers and motivators behind people’s generosity. In the right hands, it’s a role that’s truly capable of making a bottom line difference to our front line work – and given that level of impact, it’s being sponsored at the very highest levels within our organisation.
You’ll be a great communicator who can interpret and represent the needs of technical and non-technical teams to each other. You will bring either a mix of marketing experience, based on your analytical and statistical knowledge, together with a keen interest in IT, or the other way around. Either way, you’ll have a proven ability to take large volumes of customer data and use your technical competence to produce genuine insight into human behaviour. You’ll be able to present results clearly to a non-specialist audience as part of our evidence-based decision making.
Qualities like curiosity, tenacity, tact and persistence, are all things you’re going to have plenty of. Now you’ll be looking to use them in a way that makes a real difference to people’s lives around the world
More than half the world lives in poverty. We aim to put a stop to that. So we campaign against the inequalities that keep people poor and we work with local organisations to give people strength to find their own solutions to the problems they face, irrespective of their religion. If you’re as determined as we are to end poverty and injustice across the world, work with us to make change happen.
