Sr. Software Development Engineer, Cloud Services Seattle, Washington

Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) enables customers of all sizes to run their applications on Amazon's industry leading cloud computing infrastructure. Amazon EC2 reduces the time required to obtain and boot new server instances to minutes, allowing customers to quickly scale capacity, both up and down, as their computing requirements change. Amazon EC2 changes the economics of computing by allowing customers to pay only for capacity that they actually use.

The Amazon EC2 team is growing rapidly, and we have a new software development opportunity in platform level engineering. Software Development Engineers perform a broad array of the coding and design of the tools we use to build into our Linux platform, and for guest operating systems such as Microsoft Windows Server. The Senior Development Engineer must be capable of synthesizing design requirements into action with minimal direct oversight.

We are changing the way that people use computers and the EC2 team is at the core of pushing the future of our technology platform- come help us make history!
