Talent Acquisition Partner - Germany, Austria & Switzerland


Role based in Frankfurt, Germany

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced recruiter to join the AIG in-house resourcing team. As Talent Acquisition Partner you will work closely with assigned business units and the HR community to delivery a superior recruitment service to your clients and candidates. You will ensure that AIG is able to attract and integrate high calibre people to meet current and future business needs. This role demands excellent Talent Acquisition customer servicing and communication skills, and will require an individual who is target driven, highly organised, strong operationally and able drive forward initiatives to source and retain the best talent for our business.


Role Accountabilities

• Responsibility for permanent and temporary recruitment activity within all business areas in Germany, Austria & Switzerland. The role will involve consulting with the business to ascertain and deliver an appropriate and timely recruitment service
• Engage on regional recruitment assignments and Talent Acquisition related projects as part of the EMEA Talent Acquisition leadership team
• manage the vacancy life cycle from requisition to induction selling the company “brand” and employee value proposition to prospective employees and suppliers
• Manage candidate sourcing, including candidate and supplier communication, reviewing and screening CVs, scheduling interviews, tracking applicants and communicating feedback to uphold our candidate care philosophy
• Direct sourcing of external candidates using variety of low-cost Talent Acquisition channels.
• Ensure compliance with AIG requisition authorisation standards and rules and AIG recruitment policy and procedures
• build relationships and credibility across the business with line managers
• work in partnership with our global network of recruiters and deliver on global strategies
• maintain a focus and meet targets to reduce cost and time to hire
• develop and maintain strong relationships with Schools, Colleges, Universities and other local organisations
• Assist with the planning and running of recruitment campaigns such as job fairs, open days, graduate recruitment and summer internships.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers; monitor supplier activity and service delivery.
• assist in the design and delivery of initiatives to develop and improve the recruiting function and to deliver an optimal service
• stay updated with legal changes and developments in the industry, and make improvements to processes and practices
• Assist in the production of qualitative and quantitative management information that records recruitment activity, successes, problems and associated costs.

• the job holder will have a successful track record of resourcing at organisational level and be able to build strong business working relationships
• Experience across a range of functional areas including technology, finance and front-office business roles
• Internal and external candidate sourcing utilising a range of recruitment channels including networking, referrals, linked-in, job boards and recruitment agencies
• an understanding of relevant employment legislation and its application to recruitment
• experience within an in-house recruitment model
• detailed knowledge of the insurance and/or Financial Services sector is highly desirable
• previous experience of using an ATS system, and ideally Peoplefluent RMS
• Fluent in English and German
