Human Resources Officer - Field (Switzerland, HQ)

Responsibilities
The Human Resources Officer - Field at Medair Headquarters is responsible for managing all human resources processes for Internationally Recruited Staff (IRS) in the allocated programme(s). Particular focus is on staff policy development, recruitment, coordination of training and general staff well-being. HR activities are conducted in line with Medair policies and procedures, in accordance with local employment legislation and practice. Liaise with field management team on in-country issues for IRS and Nationally Recruited Staff (NRS).
Project Overview
Medair Headquarters (HQ) provides operational guidance for country programmes and activities, along with both technical and compassionate support for our relief workers. Within our headquarters, we are also responsible for promoting the work of Medair to the world, to raise and manage the funds needed to run our life-saving and sustaining programmes. Our headquarters teams are also responsible for recruiting international and HQ staff, and like our field teams, we are committed to serve the world’s most vulnerable with practical and compassionate care.

Medair has standard working requirements for working in the field. A very important one is that you need to be a comitted Christian. Another is that if you're married, your spouse must also apply.
