Senior Lecturer in Primary Mathematics with ICT

Starting salary: £37,382, rising annually to £45,941
You will be responsible for:
  • teaching Primary Mathematics and Information and Communications Technology (ICT) on the Teacher Education programmes (eg PGCE)
  • supervising and assessing student teachers, contributing to curriculum design and delivery, and working with partnership schools
  • engaging in scholarly activity, undertaking research leading to national and potentially international scholarly publications
  • contributing to Masters’ degree teaching and supervision, when required
  • undertaking curriculum development work; including planning, development, evaluation and updating of courses and course materials
  • engaging in administering academic programmes, as necessary.
You should have:
  • a good honours degree
  • qualified teacher status
  • a higher degree in a relevant subject
  • evidence of good quality teaching at primary level
  • an excellent understanding of recent developments in the primary mathematics and ICT curriculum
  • the ability to work as a member of a team.
