Salary: £37,012 to £44,166 per annumplus £2,000 per annum for a CCAB or CIMA accountancy qualification
Our client is seeking a Senior SAP Business Analyst to design and develop business improvements across the institution and successfully deliver solutions to support the University’s strategy and provide long term value.

As part of the internal SAP team this will be a key role in leading initiatives to improve business processes, including the design, development and implementation of business applications based on SAP ERP and other infrastructures. This will involve detailed analysis of user requirements or new functionality, reviewing business processes, managing full delivery of the user acceptance testing process, successful delivery of development work and contribution to large scale projects. In addition to this, the individual will take the day to day lead in running SAP Financials (FI/CO, PCA, FI-AA, Reporting), planning and leading preventative maintenance and upgrade work and offering third line support for systems where required. The individual will also need to provide expert advice to the team, Finance, Estates and other University departments, proactively identifying and demonstrating opportunities for the University to better utilise existing systems and functionality.
The appointee will have extensive experience of SAP configuration and up to date knowledge of relevant SAP modules (FI/CO) with the ability to bridge the gap between IT and business activities. The individual will possess substantial business analysis experience in commercial and innovative environment along with excellent communication and analytical skills and the ability to understand and communicate effectively complicated business and technical matters when dealing with both a technical and non-technical audience. The ideal candidate will also possess a recognised accounting qualification and Prince2 Project Management certification.
