The Clinical Sciences Centre is a core-funded Medical Research Council research institute embedded on the Hammersmith Hospital campus (London W12) of Imperial College London, with nearly 400 biomedical researchers undertaking multidisciplinary and internationally-competitive science.

We are currently looking to recruit a Human Resources Manager to join our team in supporting the CSC Director and Group Heads in all aspects of staff management, providing a generalist HR service. This includes, recruitment and rentention, performance management and motivation, reward, restructuring, training and change management.

You will be responsible for providing an efficient and professional HR service to meet the requirements of the Institute and the MRC strategy as well as managing two HR officers and the relationship with the RCUK Shared Service Centre.

The successful applicant will be CIPD qualified or possess equivalent specialist knowledge gained through significant experience in a similar post.  Proven experience of providing HR advice to managers and staff that balances operational needs and individual requirements is essential as is the ability to assist senior managers in implementing change.
