Cefic is located in Auderghem and employs more than 160 people.
For its department Fine, Specialty & Consumer Chemicals (FSCC), Cefic is looking for a (M/F):
Biocidal Products Regulation Counsellor
Responsibilities
  • In collaboration with the Managers and Director in charge of the cluster, you will actively contribute to the management of a number of working groups with representatives of industry ( chemical companies, member of Cefic )
  • Provision of technical and scientific guidance.
  • Coordination of the follow-up of risk assessment dossiers with the relevant authorities
  • Organisation and chairing of meetings, drafting of minutes, budget development and control
  • Coordination and management of projects in response to key technical issues such as GHS, REACH, Biocidal Products Regulation.
  • Initiate advocacy in line with action plans agreed with the working groups
  • Advice and ensure high level service to the members
Skills & competencies
  • University degree (science, chemistry);
  • Valuable working experience within chemical industry;
  • Working experience within international environment and/or working with associations similar to Cefic;
  • Proficient level in English (both spoken and written), knowledge of other European languages are an asset;
  • Ability to speak clearly and concisely, to express ideas and concepts in writing;
  • Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills;
  • Good computer skills (Microsoft Office package);
