Call for expressions of interest: SACQ Sub Editors

South African Crime Quarterly (SACQ) is an accredited, inter-disciplinary peer-reviewed journal that promotes professional discourse and the publication of research on crime, criminal justice, crime prevention, and any other related matter including state and non-state responses to crime and criminality.
The current form of the journal has been in existence since 2002. It provides research findings, expert analysis and commentary on issues relevant to crime, crime prevention and the criminal justice system. Each edition also features an interview with a leading figure in the criminal justice system on matters of topical interest.
Since 2010 submissions to the journal have increased substantially and SACQ is looking to appoint a panel of sub editors to assist the editor to screen articles and contribute towards the editing process. Sub editors are ideally PhD students with specific knowledge of, and interest in, issues of relevance to the journal. The position is voluntary, but offers sub editors the opportunity to be involved in the evolution and development of a growing and interesting journal.
Please contact the editor, Chandre Gould, if you are interested in being involved:cgould@issafrica.org
