HEAD OF COMMUNICATIONS AND MEDIA

ETNO, Europe's leading trade association for telecoms operators, represents fifty members and observers from the e-communications and ICT equipment sectors. ETNO is a key interlocutor with the EU and international institutions involved in digital economy, telecoms policy and regulatory matters.  The association is now seeking a Head of Communications and Media for its Brussels Office.

Function

The role of the Head of Communications and Media is to support ETNO in its external communications functions, with direct report to the ETNO Director. The Head’s main responsibilities include communications strategy and planning, handling press relations, promoting ETNO and its events, supervision and management of ETNO’s digital and print media.

Profile

This senior position requires extensive experience in designing and implementing communications and media strategies. Good knowledge of the functioning of the European institutions as well as an understanding of European telecoms policy are important additional assets. The candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal and advocacy skills and the ability to work in a multi-member, international environment. Fluency in English and excellent writing skills are a prerequisite.
