Policy Adviser (Humanitarian and Security Issues Team)

Oxford, UK Salary circa £37-39,000 One-year contract Full Time: 36 hours per week

Would you like the opportunity to be part of a global team campaigning in support of people living through the most desperate times, due to war or disaster? You can play a leading, creative role in influencing decision-makers, ranging from donor government officials to UN country teams. Your focus will be on research, policy development, political strategy, lobby, and alliance-building. Working closely with media and campaign colleagues, overseas offices, and other Oxfam affiliates, you will tackle some of the most challenging conflicts, mainly in Africa, and new humanitarian crises, as well as address themes such as gender and conflict, protection of civilians and the challenges facing the international humanitarian aid system.
