The Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) is a leading alliance of companies, trade unions and NGOs that promotes respect for workers’ rights worldwide. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced professional to join ETI as our Head of Knowledge and Learning, and play an important role in driving forward our organisation’s work. 


The Head of Knowledge and Learning sits on ETI’s senior management team and sets the strategic direction for our Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (ME&L) function. This post is also central to ensuring that what we learn is shared with members, business leaders, civil society and labour representatives, extending the reach and impact of our work.  


The ideal candidate will be able to think strategically, have significant experience in delivering knowledge and learning projects and products, and have line management experience. They should have expertise in setting up systems for organisational ME&L, as well as knowledge and interest in ethical trade and labour rights. A strong background in partnership working is essential, and knowledge of the current funding climate is desirable.


This is a full time post of 37.5 hours a week, with a salary (plus benefits) of between £44,000 and £49,000 commensurate with experience.
