Head Of Office Of The Chair, Children's Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF)
CIFF’s mission is to demonstrably improve the lives of children living in poverty in developing countries through large-scale and sustainable impact. With an asset base of approaching $4billion, CIFF is a private foundation with the capacity to make a difference. It has established a reputation for rigour and results. It works in coalition with other funders and with implementing partners to achieve change. Its participation in the recent Nutrition for Growth high level event, with DFID and the Government of Brazil, is evidence of the stature it has attained.
CIFF intends to appoint a Head of the Office of the Chair, to work closely with Jamie Cooper-Hohn. S/he will ensure that the Chair is properly positioned to articulate CIFF’s perspective to the right audiences in ways which maximise its impact.S/he will ensure that the Chair has the support she needs to succeed as ambassador and advocate for CIFF and in influencing change more widely in the sector.
As the public voice of CIFF, the Chair will develop and implement an influence strategy to move the organisation’s work forwards, as well as advocating on other issues that cut across the Foundation’s work. This role requires a highly motivated, self-directed professional with exceptional attention to detail in each of the following areas: strategy development; organisational and interpersonal dynamics; global development experience; managerial effectiveness; written and speaking communication.
