Based in one of our UK offices, from day one you will working as part of a team alongside other graduates and experienced professionals. We'll involve you in various project phases so you gain vital on-the-job experience through our vast range of technical expertise. We do not have fixed start dates but most graduates start working for us between July and September.

Job Description

We have opportunities in this scheme in the following sectors:
Buildings: worldwide Mott MacDonald has been helping design and deliver buildings that are safe, striking, efficient and able to stand the test of time. This team represents an immense breadth of expertise covering every type of building development – from commercial and cultural to retail and residential – and covers everything from building structures and architectural design to the surrounding infrastructure. We have opportunities in the following offices; Aberdeen, Altrincham, Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Cardiff, Colwyn Bay, Croydon, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness, Leeds, London, Norwich and Sheffield.
Water: the Water team is highly respected within the industry and provides expert advice on all aspects of water supply and wastewater engineering. We have well proven civils design capability in all fields including water treatment, supply, sludge treatment, pumping stations and reservoirs. With today’s growing focus on sustainability, we aim to deliver sustainable use of water resources and achieve affordable, efficient water supply and irrigation systems. We have opportunities in the following offices; Cambridge, Reading and Shifnal.
Transport: transportation is a core sector of Mott MacDonald and our team is recognised for delivering a wide range of world class technical, managerial and analytical services to our customers around the globe. We help conceive, drive and implement transport solutions for cities and regions in the UK and internationally. We are recruiting into the following offices; Croydon, Southampton and Warrington.
Environment: Mott MacDonald is a world leader in providing environmental services to both the private and public sector. With skilled environmental staff located all over the world, we make a difference, providing quality services based on local knowledge and global expertise. Candidate Specification

You are able to apply for this scheme if you have graduated from 2012 onwards and have achieved, or are expected to achieve, a minimum of 2.1 or above in one of the following degree disciplines:
- Architectural engineering - Civil engineering - Environmental engineering - Geotechnical engineering - Structural engineering - General engineering, specialising in civil discipline.

To be successful on our scheme you should demonstrate the following: - Ability to be adaptable and able to work both independently and as part of a team - Will confidently build and maintain external and internal relationships - Ability to produce clear and logical written communication - Have a systematic logical approach to problem solving - Pay strong attention to detail and demonstrate accurate work - Flexible approach to work, and ability to prioritise and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and client needs - Highly motivated to learn on the job as well as undertake training.
