Logistics Officer (Supply Chain) P3 , World Food Programme

The World Food Programme (WFP) is the world's largest humanitarian agency, fighting hunger worldwide. We are currently seeking to fill the position of Logistics Officer (Supply Chain) P3 in the Logistics Development Unit (LDU) in our headquarters in Rome, Italy.
The Logistics Development Unit (LDU) is the logistics and supply chain research and innovation unit located within the Logistics Division of WFP Operations Services Department. By bringing together technology, expertise and best practice from humanitarian field, academia, private sector and government partners, LDU works across WFP divisions to develop supply chain strategies and solutions that increase operational efficiency and effectiveness, provide visibility in supply chains, and promote culture of continuous improvement. LDU portfolio also includes capacity development solutions for humanitarian and government partners in the field of logistics and supply chain and emergency response. One of the key components of capacity development is training.
