Summer internship: Nano-crystalline perovskites

About the Unit

Yara use 10 different catalysts in their daily production. Without catalytic competence and know-how there would be no Yara. R&D Catalyst Systems Core Competence Community consists of more than 20 highly skilled technicians, and engineers with BSc, MSc and PhD in a growing environment. We develop and test catalysts for our own plants around the world as well as looking into new catalytic applications. We do R&D as well as operational support, and develop catalysts from concept via lab scale and pilot to full-scale tests in our plants. We are looking for you who likes catalysis and has a passion for bringing new ideas into industrial use.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of nano-crystalline perovskites using micro-emulsion techniques
• Characterization of the perovskite

Profile

• 4 year of Chemistry – Catalysis if possible
• Competence in working in a laboratory environment
• Fluent in English
