English Language Trainer, Iraq

The focus of the English Language training is on improving English language skills of contractors in Iraq, as well as their knowledge of Business English. The expected outcomes of the project includes an internationally accredited English language certification for selected Shell contractors to enroll and be accepted to participate in international courses mentioned above.

English Language Trainer will contribute in designing and deliver English Language courses that are appropriate to student’s proficiency. These courses will cover all aspects of the English Language, including listening, reading, writing, and speaking, with embedded Business English, Oil and Gas sector terms integrated into lessons and shall not exceed twenty (20) students per class.

Qualifications:

1. Highly qualified trainer;
2. Qualified native or near native English speaker;
3. Holder of internationally recognized certificate (i.e. CELTA, DELTA, TESOL, TEFL);
4. A minimum of 3 years of education experience
5. General knowledge of the Iraqi culture; and
6. Willing to travel to Iraq, Basrah.
