Assistant to Labour's Richard Howitt MEP

Salary scale: European Parliament Accredited Assistant Grade 5 starting at 2575,84€/month.

Join the team supporting one of the most senior of Britain's MEPs in his parliamentary duties. We are looking for a candidate to start on 29 August, with knowledge of the European Parliament, the Labour Party and Richard's policy work on corporate social responsibility a distinct advantage. This is a temporary appointment for six months in the first instance, but with a view to it being extended.

The post will share both research and administrative duties, and your application should demonstrate experience of both.

You will have:

• Excellent administrative, IT and organisational skills
• Excellent command of the English language
• Sound knowledge of the European institutions
• Interest in Richard Howitt MEP's work on corporate social responsibility
• Flexibility and commitment
