Engineering Assissment Survey and Design of Community Water Project: AAIS/T/O1/2011

ActionAid is seeking bids from interested construction firms to undertake an engineering assessment and design for an exciting and ambitious water project in Somaliland.

Action Aid International Somaliland (AAIS) is a non-governmental organization that facilitates processes that eradicate poverty and ensure social justice through anti-poverty projects, local institutional capability building and public policy influencing.

Deadline: please note that the deadline is 9.00am EAT (East Africa Time) on 12th of December 2011 (or 12:00 GMT)

In line with our anti-poverty projects, ActionAid Somaliland is interested in conducting an engineering assessment survey and design that will provide: bill of quantities that will allow the work to be tendered, design drawings for the implementation of the works and technical specifications that will allow quality control for the community water project in Sanaag, Togdheer and Maroodijeex areas. The project will be in Baligudbale, Burao and Elfuwein locations. For more enquiries, kindly contact the ActionAid Somaliland office during normal working hours.

Interested construction firms should refer to the application documents above. Bidders will be required to submit copies of current certificate of registration as consultant with their respective Ministry of Water, applicant’s audited accounts for the last three years up to 2009, list of five current major clients excluding ActionAid Somaliland (please attach copies of current contracts or any other evidence) among other requirements.

All tenders to be received on or before 9.00 am EAT (East Africa Time) on 12th of December 2011.
