Position Summary: Relief International (RI) is currently recruiting a Project Manager for an anticipated USAID-funded program in Haiti for the Construction of Permanent Shelter Houses on the Caracol EKAM site in the Cap Haitien Development Corridor Shelter Program. The program will serve to meet the backlog of shelter that exists as a result of the 2010 earthquake by increasing IDP access to safe, durable and affordable housing within development corridors in Haiti. The Quality Control and Safety Specialist will monitor the implementation of the Contractor Quality Control and Safety Plan.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: • Oversee construction, monitoring quality and safety • Adhere to the Contractor Quality Control and Safety Plan, and, working with key personnel, modify the plan as needed

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: This position demands a dynamic individual with a demonstrated ability to achieve results in a demanding and fast paced environment. • At least 5 years experience working on projects where safety and quality were a serious consideration • Diploma in civil engineering, construction management, or similar related field, incorporating quality control; This may be substituted for a CEI (Construction Engineering Certification) from the United States

Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications
