We are seeking an academic biomedical scientist to join our friendly, enthusiastic and successful team as a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in the Biomedical Science Division of the School of Pharmacy.

You will be part of a team of 12 academic staff within the Division and more than 50 within the School with a broad range of expertise in research, teaching and professional activities, and contribute towards the School's research and scholarly activities and the development and teaching of biomedical sciences at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

We are seeking a person who is capable of delivering high quality teaching and making substantial contribution to the University's research and/or knowledge transfer activities in a way that will maintain and enhance Portsmouth's substantial reputation in biomedical sciences.

You will be expected to contribute to the teaching and research programmes of the School and to supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects. You will have the capacity to apply for external funding in support of your research and to publish its outcomes in high impact journals. Applications from individuals with expertise in any sub-discipline of biomedical science are invited but those with expertise in molecular sciences or cellular pathology will be particularly welcomed.
