Yemen Evaluation Methodology Specialist
International Business & Technical Consultants, Inc. (IBTCI), a U.S.-based international development consulting company, is seeking an Evaluator with experience evaluating community livelihoods and stabilization projects for a Monitoring and Evaluation project in Yemen. IBTCI’s Yemen Monitoring and Evaluation Project provides monitoring and evaluation services and support to USAID/Yemen and its implementing partners, with a central goal of assessing the effects of Mission programming on stability in Yemen.
QUALIFICATIONS:
10+ years of experience in evaluation of development programs in transitioning countries, especially of small, short-term interventions designed to strengthen stabilization in such countries.
Experience evaluating small grants programs.
Extensive participation working on donor-funded projects, preferably for USAID.
Must have demonstrated skill and experience utilizing both qualitative and quantitative evaluation methodologies and tolls.
Familiarity with a wide range of stability-focused community livelihood activities, including those aimed at increasing employment opportunities, increasing access to services, promoting community participation and empowerment, and strengthening local governance capacity.
Previous experience evaluating such projects in challenging environments.
Track record of successful small team leadership.
Must be literate in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Must be willing to work in Yemen.
