Regional Supporter Relationships Coordinator Greenpeace SEA

The role ensures effective relationship building and retention of financial supporters (and potential supporters) using a range of traditional and digital methods and activities. The role is responsible for the development of strategies, budgets, tests and implementation of plans working with regional and country based teams while holding no direct line management responsibilities, for ensuring systems, processes and tools are in place to facilitate the retention of donors and for bringing innovative techniques to ensure deepening and more relevant relationships with donors.

The role is responsible for ensuring our financial supporters a have a relevant and engaging relationship with Greenpeace. As Greenpeace has a policy of not soliciting funds from corporations or governments, we are reliant on the support of individuals for all the funds to carry out our environmental campaigns.



Required Experience

• 5 years successful track record in using a wide range of fundraising and marketing methods and activities
• 3 years successful team leadership and people management and development skills
• Budget management skills
• Successful development and implementation of plans
• Team work, Customer Service
• With strong analytical skills, excellent storytelling, copywriting and editing skills
• Databases, Word, Excel

Selection Criteria

• Passion & commitment to the mission, vision, values and methods of Greenpeace
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing / Communications or related field

Knowledge
• In depth knowledge of fundraising and marketing principles, techniques, methods and best practice
• Excellent copywriting, storytelling and editing skills
• Excellent data analysis skills
• Relationship building and supporter / customer care
• Understanding of NGO's, the environmental movement and related issues
• Key relevant fundraising legislation
• Knowledge of OH&S
