Conflict Management Subject Matter Specialists

We provide a full range of innovative management consulting, technical assistance, and training services to strengthen international development programs, organizations and policies. We provide services globally in the areas of democracy and governance, health and education, agriculture, the environment, and economic growth.

Objective:

SI is seeking experienced Subject Matter Specialists for an upcoming conflict management and mitigation procurement to provide Analytical Services (Evaluation and Assessments) support. Experience in one of the following sectors is preferred:

• Implementation of peace processes • Peace Process facilitation • Security Sector Reform (including DDR) • Social Policy • Good Governance • Youth and Gender Based Violence • Natural Resource Management • Institutional Development • Media communications • Trainings and assessments

Additional Qualifications:

• Ph.D. or equivalent (MA plus senior-level work experience/responsibility) in a relevant conflict field
• 7 years of relevant work experience in Conflict Management, Mitigation, Transformation, and/or Resolution. • At least 5 years experience in an politically unstable/conflict prone environment, • At least 5 years USAID project management experience, • Demonstrated record of expertise in the conflict related field and effective USAID project management and home office support for USAID projects.
