Coffey International Development is currently seeking expressions of interest for the upcoming Economic Development program in Indonesia - the Australia Indonesia Partnership for Decentralisation Rural Economic Development Program (AIPD Rural).

AIPD Rural been established to address in an equitable and sustainable way, constraints to competitiveness of poor farmers. Through policy development and by working in collaboration with agricultural players, the program will provide access to services for local farmers to increase their knowledge, skills and income.

We are seeking expressions of interest from a suitably qualified Learning & Development Adviser who will be responsible for working closely with the AIPD Rural Management Support Team (MST), ensuring they have the right tools and skills to effectively implement the program in accordance with program principles and objectives. Responsibilities include: undertaking an annual Training Needs
Analysis; developing an effective Skills Development Plan and guidelines for developing, implementing and monitoring quality formal and on the job training.

For success in this position, applicants will need to demonstrate considerable professional work experience in carrying out training needs analysis; undertaking, developing and implementing training plans and in evaluating training outcomes; providing formal and on the job training, coaching, mentoring in a cross cultural context.

Candidates with practical experience in Indonesia will be highly regarded. The ideal candidate will have high level interpersonal and cross-cultural skills, a knowledge and sensitivity to cultural issues in the area as well as a sound understanding of Indonesia and Asia in a development context.
