(Four-year fixed term contract with the possibility of extension)

EUMETSAT is the European satellite agency for monitoring weather and climate. Bringing together the resources of 26 member states, we develop and operate a range of satellite systems surveying the atmosphere, land and ocean that deliver vital data 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our data contribute to weather forecasts that protect lives and property across Europe. EUMETSAT is now embarking on new and challenging satellite development programmes, shaping its long-term future.

In this important role, you will provide wide-ranging administrative support to the recruitment function, together with managing contract renewals and retirements. In particular, you will prepare vacancy notices, process applications, arrange interviews, co-ordinate medical appointments and draft employment contracts, while organising the induction of new colleagues. At the same time, you will be responsible for updating internet and intranet pages and utilising the SAP system, demanding excellent IT skills (including familiarity with an ERP HR module).

To join us, you should bring sound personnel experience, ideally gained within a governmental or international organisation, backed by knowledge of best practice in recruitment. Needless to say, you are exceptionally organised and methodical, with highly developed interpersonal abilities and a very flexible and enthusiastic approach. Finally, you must be fluent in English and possess a good command of French, and you will preferably be familiar with basic German.
