Etihad
Airways is offering a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced
Airport Operations Officer who is passionate about delivering customer
service to join the Airport Operations team at the Brisbane
International Airport.
As an Airport Operations Officer you
will be responsible for the supervision of all flight-handling
activities by acting as the senior point of liaison for third party
customer service staff and ensuring the delivery of Etihad Airways
ground handling requirements and the ultimate guest experience.

Requirements | Operates
within a regulated environment with the necessity to make quick
decisions; additional working hours may be required in the event of
delays, diversions or disruption. Such circumstances may also lead to
the incumbent being contacted outside of ‘normal’ working hours. This
role will be required to work rotating shift patterns which may include
week days, weekends, early and late shifts.

Responsibilities |
In this role you will be accountable for:
- The supervision and control of
flight-handling activities such as flight editing, guest check-in,
transfer and boarding and acting as the point of liaison for third party
check-in staff;
- Delivering an optimum standard
of guest service by ensuring that all ground services business is
delivered in accordance with Etihad Airways values;
- Ensuring that opportunities to optimise excess baggage revenues are identified and delivered;
- Contributing to the performance management of junior team members in accordance with the Etihad Airways values.

The Individual |
To be successful in this position you will need to possess:
- Experience in customer service, preferably in similar role in Airline Airport Operations
- Minimum secondary education
- Supervisory experience of at least 1 year
- Analytical and strong problem solving skills
- Strong and professional work ethic
